The public reception areas in the main lodge are bright, warm and rich with traditional southwestern detail. The guestrooms are all housed in authentic lodges and are unique, comfortable and charming.
A day of business begins with a lavish breakfast buffet in the main lodge dining room, or an attractive continental breakfast served in your meeting room. The dining room is easily divided into separate areas for banquets and private dining. Our award winning culinary team will craft a custom menu for your group, or choose from our extensive catering selections. Indoor and outdoor reception areas can accommodate special parties and events, including cocktail receptions, cowboy cookouts, Native American themed parties and Mexican Fiestas. Our own private mountain banquet site is located on our “Mesa Vista” with fabulous views, and is a great spot for trail ride breakfasts or sunset barbecues. This venue can be reached by foot, horseback or we can arrange for transportation to accommodate your group.

The Bishop’s Lodge offers a full range of A/V equipment, high speed internet and video conferencing, through experienced local contractors. Our Business Center is available for internet access, faxing, scanning and copying. Just ask for information at the front Desk.

From whitewater rafting and hot-air ballooning, lectures and demonstrations to studio tours and browsing in historic Santa Fe, there are many options to choose from including visits to nearby archaeological sites and Indian Pueblos. Several Santa Fe firms specialize in designing custom itineraries.

Concierge services are available in the lobby to assist you and help make your stay enjoyable. Same-day laundry service is offered on weekdays. Baby-sitting is available year-round with a children’s day and evening program throughout the year.

Our stables offer guided horseback trips into the canyons and foothill of the Sangre de Cristo, with horses for both novice and accomplished riders. Cowboy cookouts provide a hearty taste of the Old West. Hikers will love the nature trails just steps from their door, and birdwatchers may encounter over 50 species during their visit.
Secluded from the Main Lodge area, a skeet and trap shooting range welcomes everyone from first-timers to crack shots. Qualified instructors will help you take aim and stay on target.
After a day of business meetings, it’s a treat to relax in the Lodge’s heated pool (seasonal) or Jacuzzi. Or you may choose a work-out in our fitness center or a rejuvenating treatment at the SháNah Spa and Wellness Center. For tennis buffs, the Bishop's Lodge offers two all weather tennis courts, a resident teaching pro and pro shop.
Nearby seasonal recreation includes whitewater rafting, hot air ballooning, and alpine skiing. Several 18-hole golf courses are just minutes away from the Lodge.
