Location: The Bishop's Lodge Resort and Spa is located on Bishop's Lodge Road at the edge of the Santa Fe city limits, three miles (about 5 minutes) from the Plaza and downtown Santa Fe. The Lodge occupies several hundred acres of rolling foothills and valley floor adjacent to the Santa Fe National Forest.
Transportation: Santa Fe is served by the major airlines via Albuquerque International Airport (just over an hour from the Lodge, with Shuttle, Charter, Taxi, Limousine, and Rental Car services available), and the Santa Fe Municipal Airport (commuter and private aircraft). Local transportation services are available for excursions and events. The Bishop’s Lodge runs a “Shopper’s Shuttle” to the Plaza several times a day and a complimentary ski shuttle to the Santa Fe Ski Basin during the winter.
Climate: At 7,300 feet above sea level, The Bishop's Lodge enjoys clear sun-filled days and crisp cool nights. The mountain air is dry and light, with low humidity and yearly average precipitation of 14 inches. The mountain peaks above, edge up to over 12,000 feet, with Santa Fe Ski area often enjoying snow pack in excess of 100 inches during the winter months.
