Horseback Riding
Experience breathtaking views on guided trail rides
though the foothills and canyons of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and
adjacent Santa Fe National Forest. The Stable offers a wide variety of
rides to accommodate everyone from the novice to the expert. Feel free
to come down to the stables, pet some horses and talk to our friendly
wranglers about setting up a ride perfectly suited for you! Don't forget
to stop in at our Trading Post where you can find everything from cowboy
hats and kerchiefs to cold drinks and cameras.

Tennis
Two courts, teaching pro, and tennis shop available mid-April through mid-October.
At 7,000 feet, you'll need special "high altitude" tennis balls.
Hiking
Start off on our self-guided Nature Walk before venturing to the 7700'
viewpoint above the Lodge. There is a system of marked trails with detailed
hiking map; unmarked trails await the more adventurous in the adjacent
Santa Fe National Forest. The Lodge has its own bird list and is a member
of the Audubon Co-operation Sanctuary System.
Pool Facilities
Relax at the prettiest pool in northern New Mexico, surrounded by lawns
and towering cottonwoods, blue skies, and abundant sunshine. Summertime
lifeguard and bar service. Hot tub, exercise room with treadmill, bicycles,
and hydraulic machines. Early morning and late afternoon lap times in
the 30' X 60' heated pool. Pool open April through October.
Trap & Skeet Shooting
Beginners receive complete group and individual instruction. You'll be surprised how quickly You'll learn. Four rounds are required for a minimum session. We can also accommodate experienced shooters. Experienced shooters include those thoroughly familiar with skeet and trap rules, guns and who shoot occasionally at a club.
