Recently Opened SháNah Spa and Wellness Center Named Most Outstanding Spa in North America by Condé Nast Johansens
SANTA FE, N.M. – January 2004 – Bishop’s Lodge Resort and SháNah Spa recently received Condé Nast Johansens’ top award, naming the SháNah Spa and Wellness Center the most outstanding spa in North America. The Condé Nast Johansens Recommended Hotel Guides are the most comprehensive illustrated reference to independently owned, annually inspected hotels throughout North America, Great Britain and Europe.

The SháNah Spa and Wellness Center recently celebrated its first anniversary, having opened in summer 2002. The intimate facility houses six treatment rooms, outdoor Watsu pool and a broad menu of spa services and wellness programs. Staying true to local Native American culture and traditions, the SháNah Spa offers an eclectic menu of healing and revitalizing treatments. A Sweat Lodge will debut in spring 2004. The spa’s outdoor patio features dramatic sculptures by the late Native American artist Allan Houser.
