"CRAZY HEART" Wins Big at the 2010 Golden Globes - Press Release
Monday, January 18th, 2010 -- Scott Cooper's debut feature film "Crazy Heart" took home two of the most prestigious awards Sunday night at the 67th annual Golden Globe Awards.
The movie, based on the 1987 novel by Thomas Cobb, won the Golden Globe for best song "The weary kind". Jeff Bridges took home the best actor award for his performance in the film.
The remarkable light, clear skies and enduring mystique of Santa Fe provided the perfect backdrop for "Crazy Heart". The crew spent nine days filming the production at Bishops Lodge Ranch, Resort & Spa, a secluded sanctuary nestled on 450 stunning acres in the Tesuque Valley of Northern New Mexico. The property, with mountain forest surroundings, is located only minutes from the Santa Fe plaza and considered among the best retreats in America by Travel & Leisure Magazine.
